I am always on a lookout for some good ideas for my cooking. Here is something new in my repertoire. A little bit of soft goat cheese sandwiched between two rounds of microwaved beets (you need to poke a raw beet root in a few places, so it does not blow up and wrap it in a paper towel)
In a center there are pieces of lox. It is a cold appetizer.
Plus this delicious traditional Dutch mustard soup.
In a center you see a garnish of bacon and green onions.
